Introduction to Silversmithing:
Students will come away with the foundation for:
-Soldering
-Bezel Forming
-Ring Fabrication and Sizing
-Basic Design Principles
-Stone Setting (Turquoise)
-Finishing Jewelry
-Basic Photography Principles and Marketing
Students will also learn:
-How to set up your shop
-Where to buy tools
-What tools to buy
This is a two day intensive workshop. If you have tried to start on your own and struggled through self instruction it can be frustrating and costly. Students will leave with the foundation they will need to begin a career in silversmithing. No experience required.
Students need to be able to stand or sit for 8 hours comfortably. All tools and materials are provided, students are encouraged to bring eye protection of their choice. Please email me with any questions!

The Shop:
The shop is located in Cedarville, California on the border of Nevada and Oregon. Cedarville is extremely remote but very beautiful, with a mix of high desert and mountains. There is a gas station, several restaurants, and a grocery store. I will provide a link of Air BNBs that are great to stay at and close by! Please check the weather ahead of time and prepare accordingly:)

Classes will start at 9am and end around 3-4pm. We will break for lunch, there are a few different options for food in town , and you are welcome to bring your own!
